MELON LIME SMOOTHIE
I love "green" smoothies (the kind full of spinach), but my kids won't drink them unless I use blueberries to turn them purple! I've been trying to find a fun drink for St. Patrick's Day, so when I came across this recipe, I thought it would be perfect! I'm usually not a huge fan of lime, but I loved this drink and my kids did too!
Melon Lime Smoothie
4 1/2 cups cubed honeydew melon
1 1/2 cups lime sherbet
2 Tbsp. lime juice
1/2 cup cold water
Place honeydew melon in a single layer on a baking sheet. Cover and freeze until firm, about 30 minutes.
First, add water to a blender and then add the melon, sherbet and lime juice. Blend until smooth and serve immediately.

ReplyDeleteLooks yummy! Can't wait to try it. Also, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the plate! Who is the maker of the plate or the pattern name...? I WANT IT! Thanks in advance for your help and your blog!
ReplyDeleteThe plate is made by "the Spring shop"....I got it at Hobby Lobby a couple of months ago! I think that brand is exclusive to them, and they had tons of coordinating dishes/decor items!
