Easy how to make Banana Berry Cookie Crumble Sundae
Prep
Start by crushing the cookies in a food processor or put them in a ziplocked plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin. You want to create a sand like texture, break up all the large chunks.
Next, wash your strawberries, remove the stems and dice them into small bite size cubes.
After that, dice the banana into slices as well. I like to slice mine, then cut each slice in half.
Then, in a large bowl combine the cookie crumbles, chocolate syrup and cool whip. Mix well to combine.
Assemble
Proceed to take half of the cut fruit and add to the cool whip mixture and mix together.
In a tall glass or bowl, assemble the sundaes by switching between plain fruit and the fruit-chocolate mixture. Add two scoops of cool whip mixture, then a few slices of each fruit, alternate between the two until you have filled the glass or bowl to your desired amount. I typically do the bottom layer of cool whip cookie mixture, then a layer of fruit, then top it off with more whipped mixture.
If desired, you can put the sundaes into the refrigerator to chill for 20 minutes or so. Or you can serve and enjoy immediately, either way it will be a delicious treat!
Enjoy!
